The 165mm bass/midrange unit consists of a rigid pressed steel chassis with a substantial low distortion magnet system. The polypropylene diphragm with rubber surround results in exceptional bass performance with a natural and open midrange. The bass unit crosses over at 3 KHz to a 19mm dome tweeter with vented voice coil former and ferro fluid cooling/damping, giving a sweet and extended high frequency response.

The crossover network is mounted on a glass fiber printed circuit board and utilizes dust cored inductors with close tolerance capacitors, resulting in a transparent sounding network. The crossover leads are directly hard wired to the input terminals thus minimizing connections and further improving sound quality. Sound quality can also be further enhanced by use of the bi-wire facility. Across the complete music spectrum from heavy rock, jazz or symphonic concert the Rogers LS33 will "take you there!"
