Since their introduction, traditional standards of craftsmanship, value for money,
design innovation, product consistency have established Rogers as market leaders
in both Professional and Domestic Audio Worlds. With approved accreditation
from the BBC, Rogers manufactured the world renowned LS 3/5a and LS 5/9 Broadcast
Monitors. Drawing on this experience, Rogers has developed a new range of Loudspeakers
for the Nineties which represents a significant step forward in audio performance. This
model has been designed to work with both high quality mainstream audio components
from Europe and Japan as well as quality 'MIDI' systems. This 125mm bass/midrange
unit consists of a rigid pressed steel chassis with a high flux magnet system.
The low mass paper diaphragm has visco-elastic damping layer, terminating in a
natural rubber surround, resulting in an accurate midrange and articulate low
frequency performance. It crosses over at 3KHz to a 19mm dome tweeter with integral
high loss diaphragm/suspension. The dome profile and loading result in excellent
dispersion characteristics to create a realistic sound stage, superb imaging and
accuracy on all types of music. |
